30 Days of Christmas Shopping: Day 15, Joseph Joseph Kitchenware

So today marks the halfway point of my 30 Days of Christmas Shopping. Today’s gift isn’t sexy but it’s practical, a little bit different and I get quite excited when I see them. So without further ado, here are a few things a modern kitchen shouldn’t be without.

Joseph Joseph Kitchenware

If you’re not familiar with Joseph Joseph, I will shed some light for you. Joseph Joseph is one of the fastest growing kitchenware companies in the world. Known for their stylish but innovative designs, Joseph Joseph products fix the little annoyances you have with ordinary kitchenware and makes life a little bit easier and makes the kitchen make a bit more sense.

I bought some chopping boards from them about three years ago and since then the company has just grown. From collapsible colanders to rotary peelers, there’s something for everyone that will make cooking and even serving that little bit easier.

If you’re looking for something with a contemporary design, something like the Shell scales would be ideal. Compact, sleek and versatile it makes it a little bit different from other boring kitchen scales. Great as a Christmas present but also if you have a winter wedding coming up.

If you know someone who always moans about making too much pasta then they have a great spaghetti measure that will solve all their problems and it’s only £7.50 and for that price it would make a great stocking filler or Secret Santa gift too.

But my favourite gift from Joseph Joseph has to be the Baking Gift Set. It’s a 4-piece set with an adjustable rolling pin, small spatula, pastry brush and pie kitchen timer. The rolling pin is by far the star of this set as you can not only adjust the thickness of the pastry but also measure its width. A must have for any enthusiastic baker.

So there we have it. They’re not the top of the line, fancy, pay £100 more than is necessary products but they’re interesting, they’re fun, they do the job and they’re exciting. You can find them in almost all department stores, home ware stores and various websites. Happy shopping!
